What is our backup strategy?

We use monthly full backups and daily differential backups, stored in Azure (EU clusters).

What’s the difference between full and differential backups?

A full backup (monthly) saves all data and a differential backup (daily) saves only changes since the last full backup.

How do we restore data?

We restore the latest full backup and apply the most recent differential backup if needed.

What happens if a backup fails?

Failures are monitored, and backups are retried to ensure data integrity.

How quickly can we restore data?

Recovery time depends on the size of the backup, but differential restores are faster than full restores.

Do we test our backups?

Yes, we regularly perform backup restore exercises to ensure reliability.
